Dr. WitlinDr. Richard S. Witlin, M.D.
Medical Director

Richard S. Witlin, M.D., F.A.C.S., has been one of the pioneers in refractive surgery in the New Jersey area. In 1981, Dr. Witlin performed the first radial keratotomy procedure in central New Jersey. He is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the New Jersey area, having performed over 6000 LASIK procedures and 25,000 cataract procedures since 1997. The surgical results have been outstanding, with over 98% of his patients achieving 20/40 or better visual acuities. Dr. Witlin is an enthusiastic surgical educator, and maintains faculty appointments at several prestigious teaching hospitals in Philadelphia and New York City. Dr. Witlin enjoys many other activities besides ophthalmology. He is an avid theater-goer, world traveler, wine-collector, and family man who enjoys spending time with his 3 children.

Dr. Eric GershenbaumDr. Eric Gershenbaum, M.D.
Dr. Gershenbaum, M.D. received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, where he was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. At the completion of medical school at Rutgers University, he was presented with the Academic Achievement Award, an honor reserved for the top two students in each graduating class.

Dr. Revathi Naadimuthu, M.D.
Known affectionately as “Dr. Naadi” by her staff and patients, graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Rutgers University being a member of the General Honors Program and the Golden Key Honor Society. She completed the highly esteemed 7-year BA/MD program through Rutgers University and UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and stayed on to complete her Internal Medicine Internship at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. She then completed her Ophthalmology training at New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY. Dr. Naadi then pursued a fellowship in Cornea, Refractive Surgery, and External Disease at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas, TX. She is highly skilled in corneal transplantation, including the newest techniques of DSAEK (Descemet’s Stripping Automated Endothelial Keratoplasty), DALK (Deep Anterior Lamellar Keratoplasty) and INTACS. She also performs complicated anterior segment surgery, cataract surgery including premium IOLs, and refractive surgery including LASIK and PRK.

Krystal Worthington Dr. Krystal Worthington, O.D.
Dr. Krystal Worthington received her undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego where she majored in Human Biology with an area of focus in Spanish Literature. She completed her optometry degree at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, earning a Clinical Excellence Citation from The Eye Institute. Dr. Worthington completed an Advanced Studies Certificate in Anterior Segment, receiving extensive training in the management of dry eye, ocular surface disease, and other corneal disorders. She was awarded Clinical Honors in all clinical externships, and is excited to be back at the Witlin Center where she trained with Dr. Witlin as a 4th year intern.

Alicia HarbienkoAlicia Harbienko
Ophthalmic Technician

Alicia Harbienko has worked with Dr. Witlin for 2 years. Outside of work, she enjoys the outdoors. Fitness and nutrition are a passionate interest for Alicia since she not only works in health care, but also promotes the importance of living healthfully and happily. She resides in Sayreville with her 10 month old chocolate Labrador named Kobe Beef!

Lynne GriffinLynne Griffin
Office Administrator

With 30 years of management experience, Lynne keeps current in the industry as a member of AAOA, attending seminars around the country and running educational lectures. A resident of Little Egg Harbor, Lynne enjoys relaxing with her husband Dennis at their house “down the shore,” out on their boat, going to the gym, visiting Atlantic City and fine dining. She also enjoys her college-aged children, Shane and Nicole, and strives to live by her motto: WORK HARD AND PLAY HARDER!

Brooke SutterBrooke Sutter
Ophthalmic Technician/Front Desk Receptionist

Brooke has been a member of “Witlin’s World” for 6 years now, first as a technician and now splitting her time between seeing patients and running the front desk. She enjoys going out with friends to local eateries or to hear live music, spending time with her rescue kitties and watching WWE. She says, “Being a part of the Witlin team has been a great experience thus far & it keeps getting better & better!”

Nicole FilianoEsmeralda Sorto
Ophthalmic Technician/ Front Desk Receptionist

Born and raised in Elizabeth, NJ, Esmeralda has been with the Witlin Center for 2 years. Her cheery personality makes her a welcomed addition to the Witlin World. She plans to pursue a degree in Optometry, and eventually become a doctor. Some of her favorite hobbies include cooking and scrap booking, and spending time with her fiancé.
